Gas Prices Slide for the First Time in Weeks
Transport Topics reports that diesel prices dropped .06 cents a gallon. Even with this decline, national average diesel prices are still 41.8 cents higher than this time last year. Read more at ttnews.com.
5,000 New Employees Added to Trucking Industry in December

Sunset Sponsors Traffic Club
Sunset is sponsoring the St. Louis Traffic Club annual dinner. This event is held every year in March. The traffic club was established in 1907 and emphasizes social and philanthropic activities for its membership and its part of Transportation Club International. Sunset Honored in Community

Sunset Moves SWAT Team Vehicle
In December Sunset Transportation moved a shipment that was anything but ordinary! Sunset moved a military PUMA, 4 x4 assault vehicle that the Harrison Police Department purchased from the government for its SWAT Team. Sunset provided the logistics to move it from Sierra Army Depot in Herlong, California, to Harrison, Arkansas at no profit.
